Hunting scent control

So I’m not truly sure if my scent has got me busted by deer. It probably has. But my question specifically is, what about gun cleaners and oils? These can smell super strong, nut nobody ever mentions it. Serious question.

Good question honestly. Gun cleaners and oils definitely have strong smells and I’m sure they don’t help. I usually clean well ahead of time and let everything air out.
