Just got back from a quick trip to a local lake in North Carolina. Targeted some bass with a spinnerbait since the water was pretty clear. The weather was nice, about 70 degrees and sunny, but the bite was a bit slow at first. I was out there solo, just enjoying the peace and quiet. Finally, I hooked into a decent 2-pounder after an hour or so, but lost another right at the boat — classic! Overall, it was a solid day on the water. How are the fish biting for everyone else this year?
