Had a black bear walk under my tree stand

One time I wasn't even bear hunting, didn't have a tag or anything. This huge black bear just strolled right under my tree stand. I totally froze up. The thing didn't even see me. My heart was going crazy, anyone ever had something like that happen when you weren't even looking for it?
