I hit a personal best group at 100 yards some weeks back. It is not competition level but way better than I usually shoot and it made my whole week honestly. Anyone have a recent hunting or shooting achievement they're happy about? Share your wins.
I had one of those days at the range where everything just clicked...just solid, repeatable shots. I drove home feeling good about myself because being patient paid off.
I bought a Henry Big Boy in 44 mag back in the fall. Hadn't shot it much so to celebrate the new year, I took it out just for fun. Seemed to me that I couldn't miss.
Gotta love that Henry lever. I have a 357 version with a red dot that I love for anything up to 150 yards. Seems to drop off rapidly after that though. No sense to really try to re-zero for a longer distance without a scope and turning it into a bench gun reduces the fun, ha ha.
