I just installed new sights on my pistol for the first time and honestly not sure if I did it right. I got them on there but they seem slightly crooked, or maybe I'm just paranoid...I went to zero them yesterday and burned through way more ammo than expected trying to get on paper, what's the process for installing and zeroing new sights?

Before you touch the zero, check the sight dovetail for burrs. A crooked sight is often metal binding, not paranoia. Fix that fit first, then start zeroing at the muzzle of the target.
