I have a few good brands of scopes, but I think Vortex really has the best value. Their scopes are clear, track very well, and you have high quality mounts, they won't lose zero. Period. Their unconditional warranty transfers to any future owners, so if you find a used one you have no worries. Their customer service is amazing. I've never had a problem with a Vortex product, but I have a scope that years later came with a throw lever. Mine was a first run that didn't come with one. I called Vortex and told them rhat wasn't fair (mostly joking). I got one free in 2 days. I will always recommend Vortex, ATN ,and Zebco for their customer service.Looking for a reliable scope for deer season without breaking the bank. That's a great idea, and if the brand of scope had forever transferable warranty, you have no worries.A good place to find your sub $300 deer hunting rifle scopes might be in your local pawn shop this time of the year to get more bang for your buck.
