Sitting here majorly Pis****ed off because a lot of lead bullets got poached out from under me at the last minute in an online auction. I shoot lead in .45 Colt. I'm sitting here contemplating casting my own. I've just ordered Lyman's book on casting. Anyone got any pearls of wisdom for someone brand new to casting? Are lead wheel weights still readily available? Alternatively, what are good sources for lead for casting? Recommendations on melting pots, molds etc? Thanks ahead of time.
