Personally, I wouldn’t mix and match. Just a tiny little bit of difference in height could put the tube of the scope in a bind and mess up the internals. Scope rings are cheap enough (I dont spend $100 on rings). And you can get them quick enough to not take that chance. One broke and I replaced it with what was available, now I've got two different brands. It is probably bad, but it's working so far, do you match your rings or mix them?
I would absolutely never mix match rings. It may seem like it’s fine, but it could be putting the scope tube in a bind, causing inaccuracy, inconsistency as well as damage. Also, I’ve never had a scope ring break. One broke and I replaced it with what was available, now I've got two different brands. Mixing rings feels like tempting fate, everything’s fine until your zero starts wandering and you’re chasing ghosts at the rangeI would absolutely never mix match rings.
