Ramen Stash — Still Worth It?

Wondering if keeping ramen in my prep stash is a good idea. I get that it's not the most nutritious, but it's cheap, fills you up, and lasts ages.

I've got a few cases tucked away, but how long do they really hold up past their expiration date? Also, is there a better way to store them than just shoving the packs back in the box?

Anyone here rotating ramen often or have hacks to boost its usefulness in a long-term scenario? Seems like they outlast their dates.

Nothing wrong with ramen. Plenty of calories which is what you need in a pinch.
But you need to rethink storage as the cardboard "case", as well as the plastic bags will not protect from bugs. Leave them out long enough and you'll find bugs or larvae and wonder how they got in that "sealed bag".
I prefer the factory sealed buckets of dry rations sold by places like Midway. Wait for the sales, buy one periodically and consider rotating. I have not opened them, on purpose, as my hopes are they are sealed well and protected, until I get curious. They are certainly more expensive than a case of ramen, but you get a variety, and tested shelf life (at least advertised by advertisement).
