I got a Zebco omega pro zo2 and a Bass pro medium light rod for my birthday one year. The reel is midsized and perfect for trout and anything else I can catch in the New River. To be honest, I could have landed probably 90% of the fish i caught with a cheap $30 combo from Walmart, but I enjoy using this setup so much I go fishing at least 3 times as much.
