What’s Your Daily Go-To Hot Sauce?

I’ve been experimenting with hot sauces lately and recently got hooked on a few varieties of Tabasco. The Chipotle version has become a favorite of mine—it's got that nice smoky flavor, not overly spicy, and it enhances just about any meal.

This got me thinking about everyone's daily staples. What hot sauce do you reach for the most? I’m really looking for that everyday sauce, the one you always have on hand for eggs, tacos, or even to drizzle on leftovers.

Do you stick with classics like Texas Pete or Cholula, or have you discovered something that’s really made your taste buds happy? I'm looking for solid recommendations that pack a flavor punch without blowing out the taste buds. What’s your go-to and what do you love putting it on?

I don't have a favorite, but Frank's Red Hot Sriracha sauce is currently in the frig.

I mean, Texas Pete is a NC made hot sauce, produced in Winston Salem. Which I think is pretty cool

Texas Pete for me 90% of the time. I've been addicted to it for too long to abandon it. I also keep some Franks and Georges on hand for certain foods. I don't really care for those sauces that make you feel like you got hit in the face with a basketball.

I also have a buddy in the mountains that sends me a variety of peppers that he grows every year. I like to grind them up in foods along with a bit of sauce. That works out very good.

Cholula is my go to hot sauce. They have a half dozen or so flavors and I like them all.

I am a fan of chipotle-style sauce lately. Tabasco makes a good one, too.

I use Tapatio daily. It’s hot but got more flavor not just heat. Schricha is a close second. The one with a rooster on the bottle.

We buy large bottles of Texas(North Carolina) Pete ! We have a good many other hot sauces but use Texas Pete the most. At the Mexican restaurants I ask for Tapatio or Valentina .

Crushed red pepper and/or Franks Red Hot, which I buy by the gallon. I like the combination of heat and flavor, yea it could be hotter but I like it just the same. At restaurants I tend to get whatever is hottest because they carry mild hot sauces.

I keep Texas Pete and standard Tabasco on hand. Have tried some crazy hot stuff on a dare but don't have anything left to prove.
