Cleaning routines

My cleaning routine is pretty no-nonsense. I wipe it down, clean the bore, check wear points, done. I’m not scrubbing like it’s going into a display case.
 
I just give them a quick wipe down and check 'em out. Overdoing it caused more wear than actually shooting. Just keep it running, don't make it a whole thing.

That’s the kind of routine that keeps gear reliable without turning cleaning into a full-day project
 
Yeah, a lot of my collection is relatively new since I’ve just gotten back into shooting these last 3 years. 4/5 of my guns have never seen a bore brush or bore cleaner, I just run patches through there until clean. I am sometimes guilty of excess lubricant usage which does create some extra cleaning needs though.

Patches-only works fine until the excess lube starts hosting its own little ecosystem
