Any experiences with Henry .17 HMR

I am looking at a Henry .17 HMR for varmints and range use, but I gotta ask, how's the accuracy, reliability, and ammo performance? For anyone running one, what loads and optics work best for you?

I haven't used a Henry .17 HMR personally, but I've read from plenty of shooters that it's smooth and fun for varmint hunting, though not quite as precise as a bolt-action at longer ranges

For ammo, the Hornady 17gr V-Max is killer. Optics-wise, a Vortex Crossfire II or Mueller 4.5-14x are popular for that good long-range varmint work

Henry's lever actions are always reliable, the .17 HMR is crazy accurate for varmints, a real tack driver.
